Given that our Egyptian partners π€ are very important to our daily operations, we believe it is essential to not only maintain daily contact by telephone or digitally, but also to meet π in person several times a year.
The sweet potato flow π from Egypt continues almost all year round at Rola Fresh, so this was a good mid-season moment to evaluate the past months, review the current harvest and make plans for next season. (We will keep you informed about this!)
Of course, a visit to the cultivation sites, storage facilities and warehouse was a must. For us Westerners, it is a completely different world and we are extremely grateful π that these wonderful people β€οΈ can provide us with such good quality and service π!
As our visit took place during Ramadan βͺοΈ, our colleagues also had the opportunity to experience their first Iftar meal π. What a hospitable experience!
It was once again a privilege to visit this beautiful and fertile country.
