Last week, our colleagues Paul-Wouter den Ouden and Joran Vleugel braved the heat (+40°C) and visited our loyal growers in Egypt.
The reason for the visit was to see firsthand what the 2025 harvest will look like and what developments are currently taking place.
As a country, Egypt has made enormous strides in recent years in terms of cultivation, quality, and food safety, becoming a major player in sweet potato production. Furthermore, Egypt boasts a favorable climate, fertile soil, and a relatively favorable location relative to Europe.
Our strategy of working only with the best and most reliable growers has paid off in recent years. By creating a clear structure for everyone in the supply chain, the number of customers is growing monthly, and we are extremely proud of that.

It was a very fruitful trip, and it's fantastic to see (and hear) that our hard work is also appreciated by our friends in Egypt and that we can create and achieve shared goals!
If you are interested in the way how we achieve our goals, or you our looking for sweet potatoes premium quality or industrial grade, please don't hesitate to contact us!
